ReDress provides an accessible, commercial, supportive, hip & happenin' environment in which people with disabilities and mental health issues can identify and receive training & employment opportunities, based around the creative recycling of textiles.

Group Members have achieved, continue to achieve and will go on achieving:

Professional and personal development with the acquisition of up-to-date personal and interpersonal skills, business, practical and life skills, knowledge and experience as well as social and professional interaction.
Training in the manufacture and retailing of textile products, from design and preparation of a product through to customer services.
Empowerment with real choices and ownership through co-operative working. Daily meetings offer the opportunity for every individual to be fully consulted and informed of developments, identify problems and solutions, communicate with the Group, discuss and make decisions about their work, their training, their own futures and that of business.

Social role valorisation, by creating a sustainable business that supplies a real need within the community.

Integration by inclusion in an employment environment that competes with market forces.
The creation of an emerging social firm.
ReDress and Group Members are pursuing:
The creation of an emerging social firm whereby a minimum of 25% of the employees are people with disabilities including people with mental health issues.
Enhanced opportunities and lifelong skills for people disadvantaged in, or excluded from, the labour market, directly tackling severe, long term and continual inequalities and contributing to long term independence and self reliance.
